Hi, I’m Maria Liz, the heart behind So Gorgeous Events.

Born in Colombia, I carry within me a natural love for joy, color, music, and human warmth, something I gently bring into every celebration I design.

As a contemporary artist and a true lover of painting, I know that a beautiful celebration is not just planning, it is a form of art, emotion, and connection.

As a mother of three, I deeply understand how often mothers plan a special day hoping to create beauty, connection, and joy, only to end up exhausted, managing every detail, solving problems, and unable to truly enjoy the moment with their child.

I believe it should be different.

My work is to create celebrations where art, emotion, and thoughtful guidance come together beautifully so you can let go, feel supported, and be fully present on the day that matters most.

Because you should not feel like the producer of the celebration.

This is one of my favorite experiences, as it brings together one of my greatest passions: art and painting. As a contemporary artist, I guide this experience with a special sensitivity, giving space not only to creativity and expression, but also to beauty, rhythm, and connection.

The result is a celebration where children can create, enjoy, and feel truly engaged, while parents are able to experience the day feeling more relaxed, supported, and fully present.
